Can I try Spectacled before I buy?
Yes. The Starter plan is free forever — no trial period, no credit card required. Professional comes with a 14-day free trial so you can test the full platform before committing.
What counts as a "seat"?
Each recruiter, admin, or team member who logs into the platform. Candidates and clients who use the self-service portals do not count as seats — portal users are always free.
Do candidates or clients count as seats?
No. Candidate portal users and client portal users are free on all plans. You only pay for the internal team members (recruiters, managers, admins) who log in to the main platform.
Can I switch plans?
Yes. Upgrade or downgrade anytime from account settings. Upgrades give immediate access to new features; downgrades take effect at the next billing cycle.
Is there a contract?
No long-term contracts. All plans are month-to-month and you can cancel anytime. Annual billing is available at a discount.
Do you offer a discount for annual billing?
Yes. Pay annually and get two months free — $990 per seat per year for Professional (vs $1,188 billed monthly) and $1,990 per seat per year for Agency (vs $2,388 billed monthly).
What happens to my data if I downgrade?
Your data is never deleted. If you downgrade and exceed the lower plan's limits, existing records become read-only — you can still view and export everything, you just can't add new items until you're within limits or upgrade again.
